Reflection
Teachers are expected to teach and assess students, what instructional designers are not expected to. Instructional designers are expected to be technology experts, what did not use to be required from teachers, but is now and should be more and more. In this sense, instructional designers should support educators both in planning curriculum and integrating technologies into their teaching, as well as providing professional development programs in educational technology. A teacher should be the author/designer/master with his students, while the instructional designer should be their angel in the crossing.
